MaxontheMove begins another adventure traveling back to Israel. This trip was a long time coming starting out over 5+ years for my grandson’s Bat Mitzvah with Rhoda and Richard but the trip was cancelled last minute ( went to California instead). Here we are now going for my granddaughter’s Bat Mitzvah, same family, different relatives but missing Uncle Dick in Florida and Aunt Rhoda.
Stayed tuned for a fun filled 2 week adventure which begins in Philadelphia, Denver, Newark Airport with Jerusalem being base camp. Happy Holidays to those at home.

Attended a special event for the Palm Beach County Food Bank at The Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea that many communities across the nation are beginning to host. One ticket entitles you to a beautiful take home handmade ceramic bowl plus the samplings of donations from more than two dozen Palm Beach restaurants. Doing a good deed warms my heart.
Be available for all and any experiences you might encounter on your travels in life. Wish I had started a little earlier but I’m making up for it that’s for sure. I may not be jumping out of planes but I’m having a great time.

To finish the Hartford wedding trip last week, beautiful bride, cold weather, but good times catching up with Camp friends. I love built- in GPS in my car....pay extra for it in your next new car, it’s worth it!
Now skip ahead... it’s Wednesday, January 24, traveling to Palm Beach for a visit with family. Typical, you say for this time of year, female traveler, well let’s beg. On time Uber driver, Southwest Airlines to Ft Lauderdale can’t be beat in price and quality service. That’s where it ends.
My friend had reserved RIGHT CAR RENTAL for her two week visit which I believe was one of the very few off site car rentals associated with Ft Lauderdale Airport. We could not seem to find where to meet their shuttle and had trouble reaching them by phone. After 20 minutes in the airport we waited another 15 minutes for pick-up. This was the good part. $189. paid up front plus they wanted a hard copy of insurance declaration, not told ahead of time, or $12.95 per day for insurance plus $200.00 in case you decide to extend your stay! Needless to say she cancelled! Instead went to Dollar Car Rental for $about $250+ for 2 weeks. Remember that travelers.
Tonight - off to the Norton Art Gallery.
great price turned out to be a farce.
$15.00 a day as well as same for insurance unless she could present a paper copy of her insurance coverage. None of this was told to her when she booked the car. So an inexpensive car rental would be $400+ for 2 weeks instead of $240 for 2 weeks
